September is that time of year when there is an abundance of wonderful produce, both foraged and cultivated, time for a Redsmith gin and jam cocktail!
- 50 ml Redsmith London Dry Gin
- 20 ml lemon juice
- 10 ml simple syrup
- 2 barspoons of your favourite Jam
Place all the ingredients in a shaker and stir to dissolve the jam. Add ice to the shaker and shake the contents really well. Strain and enjoy.
The hedgerows are are laden with blackberries and sloes. The branches of trees hang heavy with the weight of apples, plums and damsons.
Now is the perfect time to preserve this bounty of fruit, and an even better time to shake up a Gin and Jam cocktail.
